Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma)
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The program combines theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory training, and research projects to develop analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Students gain expertise in areas such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy.
Pharmacy is a dynamic and rapidly advancing field that deals with the discovery, development, and safe use of medicines. A B.Pharm degree provides students with in-depth knowledge of drug formulation, quality control, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic applications. SGSGIP is a girl’s college with a secured campus, offering well-established laboratories for Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy. We also provide Personality Development classes and Sports, along with organizing seminars and workshops to enhance practical knowledge.
Eligibility
• Candidates must have passed 12th Standard (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognized board.

Duration
• According to New Education Policy 2020, the B.Pharm degree is spread across 4 years (8 semesters).
Scope
B.Pharma opens doors to careers in pharmaceutical industries, healthcare, research, regulatory affairs, clinical services, and academics. It also provides a foundation for advanced studies such as M.Pharm, Pharm.D, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, or Ph.D.
